Primera visita
Your first visit
A placement visit is a short time in the water with an instructor, so we can suggest the right level before your swimmer joins a class. Ask for it in English or in Spanish.
- 01
Step 1: Call, text or book
Choose a time on our enrollment page, call, or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your swimmer's age and the level you think fits, or tell us you are not sure.
- 02
Step 2: A short time in the water
Your swimmer gets in with an instructor, on the step or within arm's reach, while you watch from the bench. The visit takes about twenty minutes, and a swimmer can get out at any time.
- 03
Step 3: Hear the level
The instructor suggests a level and a cap color, tells you what they noticed, and shows you the classes with room on the schedule.
- 04
Step 4: Register for a class
Register at the front desk or from home on our enrollment page. Your swimmer's file and the first month of tuition hold the place.
- 05
Step 5: The first class
Arrive ten minutes early, rinse, put on the cap and wait on the bench for the instructor. You can watch from behind the glass.

What the instructor looks at
There are no right answers at a placement visit. The instructor notices how a swimmer gets in, how they float with support, how they kick and whether they like putting their face in, then picks the level where the first class will fit.
How your swimmer enters the water
Floating with support
Kicking and moving through the water
Blowing bubbles and wetting the face

Bring
What to bring to the visit
A towel
One for your swimmer, and a dry one for the ride home.
Goggles
If your swimmer likes them. We have a few pairs to try.
Swimsuit or swim shirt
Swim shirts are welcome in every class, with a swimsuit under them.
A grown-up
A parent or guardian stays at the pool. Brothers and sisters can wait on the bench.
